Homemade Chocolate Truffles – The word truffles may scare you but these are actually a lot easier to make then you’d think! First, take 3 dozen chocolate sandwich cookies(I’d use Oreos) and crush in a plastic bag. Then, put your cookie crumbs and 8 oz. of cream cheese into a mixer. Mix until fully incorporated. Place mixture in bowl and refrigerate for 1 hour. Then, roll into 1″ balls and placed on a cookie sheet with wax/parchment paper. Freeze for one hour. Now comes the fun part! Melt 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate baking squares in microwave about 1-2 min. (Again, I like to add a little milk or oil to make smoother). Then, remove chocolate balls from freezer and drop one by one into melted chocolate until completely covered. Lastly, melt4 oz. of hot pink melting chocolate wafers and use to drizzle on truffles. I personally still love Shirley Temples because they’re a great sweet treat that takes two minutes to make. All you need to make these are: 7-Up , Ginger Ale, or Sprite, Grenadine, and marashino cherries. First, fill a pretty glass with ice. Then, pour your soda into the glass up to the rim. Top with grenadine to taste (I like to make mine more red than the picture because they’re sweeter!) and a few cherries. Done! If you’re going for a red themed dinner these are the perfect addition. The adult version? Add 1 oz. of vodka to make a Dirty Shirley. Yum! Recipe from Pen & Paper Flowers.

Next, use your small cookie cutter to cut out tiny hearts from pepperoni slices. Spread a thin layer of jarred pizza sauce onto the hearts and cover with shredded mozzarella cheese and the hearts.
